The ATA Lopez Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that no family navigating disability ever faces their journey alone. Many special needs families come to us feeling overwhelmed, unheard, and without access to the essential resources caregivers need. Our mission is to bridge these gaps by providing crisis support, advocacy, resource navigation, inclusive community events, and our Safe Return initiative for individuals at risk of wandering.
We stand for safety, dignity, and equity. Through hands-on guidance and systems advocacy—including IEP support—we help families navigate complex systems and secure the services they deserve. We foster inclusive spaces where individuals with disabilities are welcomed, supported, and empowered to thrive, while also uplifting parents and caregivers who so often carry these challenges on their own.
Every program we offer is grounded in one unwavering promise: to show up for families when they need us most—and to continue standing beside them every step of the way.
